For our second installment we will be talking with Sophie Lucido Johnson of Neutrons Protons.

spin 23Sophie Lucido Johnson is an artist and writer who lives in New Orleans. She is the editor-in-chief of the self-proclaimed idiosyncratic literary project Neutrons Protons, which publishes humor writing, comics, and creative nonfiction online and in print. Sophie is a bookmaker and watercolor artist as well, and has had her work published in Jezebel, the Hairpin, LAIKA, The Nation, The Teaching Artist Journal, and elsewhere. She is also a teacher, and has written and designed an arts-integrated social-emotional curriculum for students who have emotional disturbances and PTSD. She is, finally, a nationally touring comedian, and teaches and coaches improvisational comedy.
